Choosing where notes go
Notes go to every connected destination by default. New gear joins as it is plugged in.
To send to fewer, open Settings in the toolbar, choose the MIDI tab, and turn off All destinations. Then turn on the destinations you want.
Mother MIDI also shows up in other apps as a MIDI source called Mother MIDI. It always sends there, whichever destinations you pick, so a DAW on the same device can always record it. To use a DAW on a Mac, see Connecting to a Mac.
