Troubleshooting
- The DAW doesn’t list the port. Check Audio MIDI Setup: the iPhone or iPad should show Enable turned on. Unlock the device and click Enable again, then restart the DAW.
- The DAW gets nothing. In Mother MIDI, open Settings, choose the MIDI tab, and make sure All destinations or IDAM MIDI Host is on.
- The arpeggiator is silent. Press play in the DAW, and check that clock is sent to your iPhone or iPad. The Arp tab of Settings says when clock is coming in.
- Notes land late. A cable adds a small, constant delay. Fix it with the DAW’s recording delay setting rather than by quantizing.
