Getting started
Use Mother MIDI to play chords and arpeggios on a synth, a sampler, or a DAW. It sends MIDI notes and makes no sound on its own.
Connecting an instrument
- Connect the instrument over USB, or open a music app on the same device.
- Match the channel in the toolbar to your instrument’s.
- Play a key.
To play into a DAW on a computer, see Connecting to a Mac.
The toolbar
- Settings is on the left.
- The tempo and channel sit in the centre. Tap either to change it.
- The arpeggiator is on the right.

In Settings, choose the Settings tab and tap See onboarding tutorial.
