Playing from a computer keyboard

With a computer keyboard connected to your iPhone or iPad, you can play Mother MIDI by typing. The notes follow Logic Pro’s Musical Typing layout:

• A through ’ play notes, starting from C.
• Hold Shift for the 1st inversion, or Option for the 2nd.
• 7, 8, 9 and 0 pick chords. 1–4 add extensions. Tap a number to latch it.
• Z and X move down and up an octave.
• Space turns the arpeggiator on and off.

Typed notes always play at velocity 100.
